Pax2pay: Delays to SEPA Instant transfers
  • Resolved
    Resolved

We can confirm that the EU-wide scheme outage affecting both SEPA Instant and SEPA Credit inbound and outbound transfers has now been fully resolved.

Outbound SEPA payments submitted during the incident that show as failed can now be resubmitted.

Where a payment remains in a pending status, no further action is required at this stage. Please do not resubmit the payment. Modulr is currently reviewing all impacted payments and we will contact any affected customers directly with further updates where necessary.

If you have any further questions, please contact us via email at support@pax2pay.com or raise a ticket through our Support Desk

We appreciate your cooperation and patience throughout the incident.

  • Monitoring
    Monitoring

Modulr has confirmed that inbound SEPA payments are now being processed successfully.

However, outbound SEPA payment services remain unavailable while they await confirmation from their SEPA payments processor regarding payments currently in a transient state.

Modulr continues to investigate and closely monitor the incident and is communicating with its SEPA payments provider.

Further updates will be shared as they become available.

  • Identified
    Identified

Modulr has advised that the pan-European settlement system responsible for processing SEPA Instant and SEPA Credit Transfers has temporarily suspended network services while it works to restore full functionality.

The disruption is currently affecting SEPA payments across Europe.

We are continuing to monitor the situation closely. As soon as services are restored and payments are processing normally again, any payments held will be released immediately.

We will provide further updates as soon as possible.

If you have any questions in the interim, please contact us via email at support@pax2pay.com or raise a ticket through our Support Desk.

The underlying issue is currently being investigated with their SEPA Instant payment provider, and we will share further updates with you as soon as they become available.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused, and thank you for your patience and understanding.

If you have any questions regarding this issue, please contact us via email at support@pax2pay.com or raise a ticket through our Support Desk.

On Sunday 17th May 26, between 11:40PM and 00:40 AM BST (UK time), our SEPA banking partner will be carrying out scheduled maintenance which will affect SEPA Instant payments.

During this maintenance window, any inbound or outbound SEPA Instant payments will fail. To avoid any disruption to any time-critical payments, we recommend pausing the submission of SEPA Instant payments during the period and ensuring that any payments are sent in advance.

SEPA Credit Transfer payment requests will be unaffected.

If you have any questions regarding this planned maintenance, please contact us via email at support@pax2pay.com or raise a ticket through our Support Desk.
